Phil Stalley

Director, HubSE

Phil is a seasoned consultant in the oil and shipping industry, specialising in laytime, demurrage, freight, deviation, and shipping expenses. As a former head of BP’s demurrage team, he played a significant role in drafting BPVOY4 and BP’s oil trading terms. At HubSE, Phil has developed innovative claims management systems to streamline demurrage processes.

Sean is a distinguished commercial barrister with a focus on shipping and energy disputes. His practice encompasses charterparty disputes, bills of lading contracts, and international arbitration. Sean also serves as a Deputy High Court Judge, bringing judicial insight to complex legal matters.
